Chelsea striker demands more.

Didier Drogba has called on his team-mates to concentrate on playing football, at a time when the future of their manager is not clear.

Carlo Ancelotti is thought to be unhappy with the departure of his assistant coach, Ray Wilkins and is allegedly considering leaving Stamford Bridge.

This has been used as a reason to explain Chelsea’s recent bad results, but Drogba insists that it is up to the players to change this situation.

The Ivorian said, following 2-1 win over Zilina, last night: “We have to try to resolve our problems because we are not paying well

“We don’t speak about this [speculation over Ancelotti's future]. We stayed focused on the game.

“We lost against Birmingham and we wanted to go back to winning ways. The manager made it clear he is here and we have to focus on the games.”

Drogba was also asked about his feelings following Wilkins’ departure.

He said: “Of course we miss Ray but the players are the same. If we lose, it is not because Ray has gone, it is down to the players.”
