Nicklas Bendtner is wanted by a Premier League club.

It has emerged that Gerard Houllier is looking to bring the Dane to Aston Villa in January.

The striker has recently complained in the media about the lack of first team football he receives at Arsenal and added that he would look to move elsewhere unless that situation changes.

He has since been left out from two squads by Arsene Wenger, who despite an obvious annoyance stated that he does not plan to sell Bendtner.

But with Villa possibly offering a high price to obtain a target man, the Frenchman may yet change his mind.

Bayern Munich have also expressed their interest in the young forward.
